FACTS ABOUT MEITEIS, HISTORY OF MEITEIS

History of Meitei, the real meiteis and mixed meiteis

By Researcher Ally Shimray

Originaly Meitei migrated from Thailand

They first landed in Burma Kabou Valley, were chased

out by Burmese, and landed in Moirang, later spread to

Imphal Valley areas.

Present Meitei is a multiracial mixed race including Indian

Bengali blood.

Some of the senior Meitei still use their surname as

Tai..which means Thai.

Just 300 years ago Santidas Goswamy and his gang

came from Sylhet, (present day Bangladesh) and

enjoyed all the Meitei girls born of mixed blood, convert

them to Hinduism, and changed their surname as Kumar,

Sharma, Singh,...Devi, Kumari, etc....all because Meitei

king was too scared of Nagas raiding and killing them.

Santidas convinced the Meitei king that he will make

Meitei kingdom great by bringing Indians with weapons

to attack Nagas. Meitei king was very happy to give

whatever Santidas Goswamy asked including to enjoy all

Meitei pretty girls by Santidas Goswamy and his gang

Meitei king order all Meitei young girls to sleep with

Santidas Goswamy and his gangs that came from Sylhet

(Present in Bangladesh). The king's order was obeyed by

many but many resisted and against the king's order.

Those resisted king order were later put them into

Schedule Caste or Loi.

KUKI HILLS : KUKI TERRITORY

Kukis’ Full and Undeniable Claim Over the Kuki Hills: A Historical Assertion from 641 CE to the Present Throughout the rugged terrain of the Indo-Burma frontier, a resilient people have long made their home in what is today commonly referred to as the Kuki Hills—a region encompassing parts of present-day northeast India, northwest Myanmar, and southeastern Bangladesh. The Kukis, comprising over fifty distinct tribes such as the Thadou, Zou, Hmar, Paite, Simte, Kom, Gangte, and others, have lived for centuries in these hills, defending their culture, territory, and way of life. Despite modern political boundaries and frequent attempts to diminish their historical claims, the Kuki people maintain a legitimate, ancestral, and uninterrupted connection to their land. This claim is not founded merely on sentiment but is deeply rooted in history, stretching as far back as the 7th century. The First Historical Mention: 641 CE in Tripura The earliest recorded mention of the Kukis appears ...

MOONLIGHT IN ZALENGAM : A KUKI BEAUTIFUL LADY

Chapter 1 - A Girl Named Ahsi Kim Writer- GaryThangboi Haokip The first rays of dawn stretched over the misty hills and spilled through the windows of Ahsi Kim's small home. She awoke as the morning cockerels crowed their greeting to the new day. Though exhausted from another restless night, Ahsi rose without complaint and set about her morning chores. Outside, dewdrops dotted blades of grass like miniature jewels. Ahsi breathed in the fresh scent of the earth, allowing nature's quiet beauty to soothe her tired mind, if only for a moment. Her eyes drifted to the neighbouring homes nestled together up the sloping village road, smoke already rising from kitchen fires. In the distance, fuzzy outlines of the tallest hills blurred into the pale sky. This tranquil landscape had been Ahsi's whole world for as long as she could remember. Nestled deep in the rugged Kuki hills, the tight-knit community of Zalengam carried on as it always had, undisturbed by the changes sweepin...
